Murray Estates has sold a plot of land to Avant Homes at Torrance Park on which Avant will build 45 new homes. The site will be re branded Brannock Brae and will offer a range of 3 and 4 bedroom houses. Show homes are expected to be unveiled towards the end of this year, while the first homes are expected to be complete by early 2018.
The development will cost £12m and will be a mixture of the housebuilders most popular house types including the Norbury, Ashbury, Newton and Rosebury.
This site sale represents the second deal after Murray Estates sold a plot for 220 units to Taylor Wimpey in 2015 and the completion of a new golf clubhouse last Autumn.
All this also follows on from other recent news that North Lanarkshire Council’s Planning Committee recently approved a local development plan, which includes a section of the New Brannock site for another additional 689 units.
