Murray Foundation supports Heriot Watt University Access Bursaries

The Murray Foundation is delighted to partner with Heriot Watt University to support their Access Bursary programme.  The grant will give four students from disadvantaged backgrounds a life changing experience and opportunity to transform their life through education over the next four years.

The Access Bursaries help to level the playing field for those who need it most, providing students with financial support to help with living costs and the expenses of studying at Heriot Watt.  The four recipients have commenced their first semester studying business and accountancy degrees.

David D Murray, Trustee of the Murray Foundation said: “We are delighted to support Heriot Watt in their mission to make life changing education available to young people, regardless of their personal or family background.  The Access Bursary programme will provide an opportunity for students to fulfil their ambitions where it would otherwise have been an enormous struggle, particularly during the unprecedented circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic.”
