Murray Foundation supports HIT Scotland Emerging Talent Scholarship Programme

The Murray Foundation is delighted to be able support the HIT Scotland Emerging Talent Scholarship Programme. The Foundation’s contribution to HIT will enable individuals within hospitality the opportunity to broaden their development within the industry.

Established by the industry leaders of the time in 1994, HIT Scotland has gone from strength to strength to support literally tens of thousands of people working and studying in the hospitality industry in Scotland to expand their skills and experience by taking advantage of a tailored learning experience offered through the HIT scholarship programme.

David Cochrane MBE, Chief Executive of HIT said: “We are very grateful to Keith Murray and indeed the whole Murray Foundation for supporting our work with the Talent Scholarship programme. The industry is facing many challenges currently, however this support enables us to plan for some inspirational learning opportunities, particularly focussing on wine development, for a number of individuals to enhance their knowledge and understanding. Thank you on behalf of the future scholars.”

Keith Murray, Trustee of The Murray Foundation said: “The Murray Family set up its foundation to offer support and help to a wide range of individuals and institutions. The family’s passion for the food and drink industry in Scotland has never been needed more through these unprecedented times. We hope our efforts through HIT Scotland will make a small difference.”
